If you join the mailing list. We store the email address you give us, whether you have confirmed it, a single-use confirmation token, the date you signed up, the date you confirmed, and which form you used. Nothing else. We do not ask for your name, address or date of birth.If you use one of our short links. Links in the form /go/... record which link was used, the page that referred you, and your browser’s user agent string. We do not log your IP address and we do not set a cookie to do this, so these records are not tied to you as an individual.Cookies and the Spotify player
This site sets no cookies of its own for visitors. The one exception is the Spotify player on the home page, which is loaded from Spotify and would set their cookies, so it does not load unless you allow it. Our Cookies Policy explains this in full and lets you change your choice at any time.What this site does not do
There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracking or profiling on this site. We never sell or rent your information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.Merch orders
Merchandise is sold and fulfilled by Fourthwall, who act as the merchant of record. When you check out you are handed over to Fourthwall’s own checkout. The information you enter there, including your name, delivery address and payment details, is collected and controlled by Fourthwall under their privacy policy, not ours. We never see or store your card details.Why we are allowed to hold it
We rely on your consent to send you email updates, which is why the mailing list uses a confirmation step and why every email carries an unsubscribe link. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding which release links people use for the short-link records described above, which is why those records are deliberately kept thin.Who else processes it
Cloudflare hosts this site and stores its database. Resend delivers our confirmation and update emails. Fourthwall runs the merch store and its checkout. Each acts on our instructions or, in Fourthwall’s case, as merchant of record for your order.How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which it is removed. Unconfirmed signups are removed once they are clearly stale. Short-link records are kept only while they remain useful for understanding a release.Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we are using it, ask us to restrict its use, and withdraw your consent to marketing email at any time. Email music@avinashkalra.com and we will respond within one month.If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
